CLASSIC TONIC

Round bitter quinine gives way to a crisp, zesty citrus finish. Pairs well with dry and juniper-led gin, vodka and wonderfully lengthens bourbon.

Merchants Heart Light

LIGHT TONIC

As with the Classic tonic, it is well rounded with crisp, fresh citrus. Pairs well with most gin and vodka.

Merchants Heart Floral Aromatics

FLORAL AROMATICS

Light, fruity quinine flavour gives way to a soft bitterness. Fresh and crisp finish. Pairs well with citrus gin, vodka and blanco Tequila.

Merchants Heart Hibiscus

HIBISCUS

Delicate and fruity sweetness with a soft bitterness and a gentle rose tint. Excellent with citrus gin, vermouth and white rum.

Merchants Heart Ginger ale

GINGER ALE

A fresh ginger note is found throughout with a lingering heat on the finish. Excellent with aged spirits, particularly bourbon and whisky.

Merchants Heart Pink Peppercorn

PINK PEPPERCORN

Rich bitterness of quinine flows into the soft fruity spice of pink peppercorn. Excellent with aromatic spicy gin, earthy vodka and Cognac.

Round bitter quinine gives way to a crisp, zesty citrus finish. Pairs well with dry and juniper-led gin, vodka and wonderfully lengthens bourbon.

Merchants Heart Classic

Recipe:

  • 50 ml premium gin
  • 150ml Merchant’s Heart Tonic Water
  • Garnish: fresh lemon zest
  • Tip: squeeze the oils from the zest over your glass before adding it to your drink, to enhance both the aroma and taste.
Merchants Heart Classic

Recipe:

  • 50ml premium vodka
  • 150ml Merchant’s Heart Tonic Water
  • Garnish: thinly sliced ginger and fresh lemon zest
  • Tip: steep the ginger in the vodka for a couple of minutes to let the flavour infuse, then add the tonic.
Merchants Heart Classic

Recipe:

  • 50ml premium white rum
  • 150ml Merchant’s Heart Tonic Water
  • Garnish: fresh pink grapefruit zest and sliced raspberries.

Recipe:

  • 50 ml premium gin
  • 150ml Merchant’s Heart Light Tonic Water
  • Garnish: fresh lemon zest
  • Tip: squeeze the oils from the zest over your glass before adding it to your drink, to enhance both the aroma and taste.

Recipe:

  • 50ml premium white rum
  • 150ml Merchant’s Heart Light Tonic Water
  • 1 camomile tea bag
  • Garnish: fresh grapefruit zest
  • Tip: pour the rum over the teabag and allow too steep for a couple of minutes to infuse the subtle herbal flavours. Remove the teabag and add the tonic.

Recipe:

  • 50ml premium vodka
  • 150ml Merchant’s Heart Light Tonic Water
  • Garnish: thinly sliced ginger
  • Tip: steep the ginger in the vodka for a couple of minutes to let the flavour infuse, then add the tonic.

  • 35ml Tanqueray
  • 20ml kale and Moringa water
  • 150ml Merchant's Heart Floral Aromatics
  • Garnish with cucumber and a strawberry

Recipe:

  • 50ml Calvados
  • 150ml Merchant's Heart Floral Aromatics
  • Garnish with an apple fan

Recipe:

  • 45ml Ferdinand’s Saar Dry Gin
  • 2ml beetroot spirit
  • 150ml Merchant's Heart Floral Aromatics
  • Garnish with lemon zests and coriander

HIBISCUS

Delicate and fruity sweetness with a soft bitterness and a gentle rose tint. Excellent with citrus gin, vermouth and white rum.

Recipe:

  • 50ml premium gin
  • 150ml Merchant’s Heart Hibiscus
  • Garnish: cucumber ribbon and sliced raspberries
  • Tip: use a peeler to create the cucumber ribbon. Adding this to your drink will infuse freshness.
Merchants Heart Hibiscus

Recipe:

  • 50ml premium white rum
  • 150ml Merchant’s Heart Hibiscus
  • Garnish: pink peppercorns
  • Tip:  steep the pink peppercorns in the rum for a couple of minutes to enhance the flavour of your drink.

Recipe:

  • 50ml 100% agave blanco tequila
  • 150ml Merchant’s Heart Hibiscus
  • Garnish: orange twist
  • Tip:  use a peeler to remove the zest of an orange.  Express the oils over the top of the drink then place into the glass.
Merchants Heart Ginger Ale

GINGER ALE

  • 50ml Kokoro Gin
  • 150ml Merchant's Heart Ginger Ale
  • Garnish with orange zests

Recipe:

  • 50ml Plantation 3 stars Rum
  • 150ml Merchant's Heart Ginger Ale
  • Garnish with a lime zest and lemongrass

Recipe:

  • 50ml Bathtub cask-aged Gin
  • 150ml Merchant's Heart Ginger Ale
  • Garnish with an orange zest

PINK PEPPERCORN

  • 50ml premium gin
  • 150ml Merchant’s Heart Pink Peppercorn
  • Garnish: cucumber ribbon and a pinch of sea salt
  • Tip: adding salt reduces bitterness, boosting the cucumber flavour.

Recipe:

  • 50ml premium golden rum
  • 150ml Merchant’s Heart Pink Peppercorn
  • Garnish: fresh pink grapefruit zest
  • Tip: adding pink grapefruit provides a wonderful sharp contrast to the sweeter flavours of the rum.

Recipe:

  • 50ml premium bourbon
  • 150ml Merchant’s Heart Pink Peppercorn
  • Garnish: peach slices and fresh lemon zest
  • Tip: steep the peach in the bourbon or a couple of minutes to let the flavour infuse, then add tonic.
